PERPI Joins ASEE 2026 | WEHE Shares New Regional Cooperation Opportunities

Recently, the 2026 ASEAN Smart Energy & Energy Storage Expo (ASEE) welcomed a key partner—the Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute (PERPI)—as it officially joined the ASEE Global Support Committee.

PERPl is the Philippines' premier independent think tank, established under RA 11572, mandated to support national energy security through research, evidence-based policy making, and institutional capacity-building for the country's energy sector. At the ASEE Summit 2026, Atty. Layug will discuss the Philippines' latest renewable energy and energy storage policies, highlighting the government's long-term strategies for a sustainable and resilient energy transition.

As the Philippine government's authorized national energy think tank, PERPI will deeply engage in expo promotion and regional industrial collaboration, propelling ASEAN cooperation in clean energy and energy storage toward a new phase of practical progress.

This collaboration will further advance ASEAN exchanges in new energy policies, project matching, and investment integration, while also empowering the deep integration of the concurrently held World Electric Heating Industry Exhibition within the Philippines and the broader ASEAN region. As a critical link in clean energy applications and smart energy ecosystems, the electric heating industry will gain increased attention and opportunities through the regional collaboration platform jointly established by PERPI and ASEE.

The World Electric Heating Industry Exhibition will spotlight electric heating technologies, thermal management solutions, and smart electric heating systems across industrial, commercial, and residential applications, showcasing the innovative role of electric heating in energy transition and energy storage synergy.
