Middle East-ASEAN Energy Cooperation Upgrades, Electric Heating Emerges as Key Hub
Recently, the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA) officially became a supporting association for the ASEAN Smart Energy & Energy Storage Expo (ASEE 2026), deepening collaboration between the Middle East and ASEAN—two major emerging markets—in the clean energy sector. The Middle East Solar Industry Association- MESIA, is the only non-for profit solar association bringing together the entire solar sector across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The Middle East holds significant advantages in solar energy, electric heating technology, and capital resources. Meanwhile, the ASEAN market demonstrates strong demand for clean energy solutions in the electric heating industry across industrial, construction, and residential sectors. As a vital segment of clean energy, the electric heating industry has become a crucial bridge connecting Middle Eastern technology with ASEAN markets.
This collaboration will drive resource integration across the electric heating industry chain, providing enterprises with a platform for technical exchange, project matching, and market expansion, thereby accelerating the application of electric heating technologies in ASEAN's clean energy transition.
The World Electric Heating Industry Exhibition will continue to focus on technological innovation in electric heating, green thermal energy conversion, and synergistic development of energy storage. It aims to empower Middle Eastern and ASEAN enterprises to jointly pioneer a low-carbon future for the electric heating industry and foster collaborative energy partnerships.
