ASEAN Smart Energy & Energy Storage Expo 2026 cum World Electric Heating Industry Expo will be held in Bangkok this March!
Southeast Asia's electricity demand is growing at an average annual rate of over 5%, while Thailand's own electricity demand maintains a year-on-year growth rate of 2.3%. This immense market potential, coupled with the clear carbon neutrality goals set by various countries, has created an urgent demand for efficient and clean electric heating technologies and solutions. Possessing a complete industrial chain, continuous technological innovation capabilities, and rich experience in large-scale applications, China's electric heating industry is at a critical juncture for strategic alignment with the Southeast Asian market.
To build a strategic platform that connects global innovative technologies, regional policy orientations, and actual market needs, and to promote the green transformation and collaborative development of the electric heating industry in Southeast Asia and beyond, ASEE-ASEAN SMART ENERGY & ENERGY STORAGE EXPO 2O26 cum World Electric Heating Industry Expo will be held at the IMPACT Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand from March 25-27, 2026.

The exhibition is co-hosted by Grandeur International Exhibition Group and Compass Exhibition Thailand, in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy Thailand, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). It is also supported by dozens of authoritative global organizations, including the Singapore Sustainable Energy Association (SSEA), Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA), Kazakhstan Association for Renewable Energy (KARE), Turkey Energy Industry and Business Association (ENDDER), Nigeria Renewable Energy Association (NREA), Philippine Institute for Energy Research and Policy (PIERP), Association of Energy Services Companies of Malaysia (AOSEC), and the Council of Engineers Thailand.
The event is expected to attract over 400 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, covering an exhibition area of over 30,000 square meters. It will welcome more than 15,000 professional visitors from the industrial manufacturing, commercial application, and end-consumer sectors, including over 3,000 international procurement decision-makers.

Systematic Presentation of Technical Strength, Defining the Direction of Industrial Evolution
The exhibition will feature a concentrated showcase of cutting-edge technologies from the global electric heating industry, covering the entire industrial chain: from fundamental heating materials and components to critical industrial equipment, and a wide range of civil and commercial products. A series of innovative technologies will make their regional debuts here.
Graphene heating materials, renowned for their high efficiency and uniform heat generation, are rapidly expanding from specialized sectors into the civilian market. Complemented by intelligent temperature control systems, they enable precise time-sharing and zone-based management, significantly enhancing energy efficiency.
Targeting the industrial sector, low-energy consumption intelligent heating equipment and waste heat recovery systems directly address the Southeast Asian manufacturing industry's needs for energy conservation and cost reduction. In terms of energy integration, integrated designs for photovoltaic power generation and electro-thermal conversion, as well as linkage solutions between energy storage modules and heating systems, offer new pathways for regional power peak regulation and clean heating.

"Furthermore, to precisely align with regional energy transition needs, a group of systematic solution providers tailored to the characteristics of the Southeast Asian market will be introduced.
Specifically, targeting Thailand's booming electric vehicle (EV) industry, the exhibition will feature intelligent thermal management components for battery packs and anti-freezing heating solutions for charging infrastructure. Addressing the tropical climate, specialized electric heating elements with moisture and corrosion resistance will also be showcased. Through application scenario-based demonstrations, the event aims to assist manufacturers and suppliers in transitioning from simple product export to high-value technical solution export."
Market Channels Precisely Opened, Policy Dividends Within Reach
As a transportation and economic hub of ASEAN, Bangkok serves a market of nearly 650 million people. Thailand and its neighboring countries possess solid foundations in sectors such as automotive manufacturing, electronics assembly, and agricultural product processing. Consequently, processes involving heating, drying, and forming are currently facing a critical phase of equipment renewal and technological upgrading.

The Thai government, through the Board of Investment (BOI), has launched a series of incentive policies. Electronics manufacturers that utilize local raw materials or meet specific technical standards are eligible for a corporate income tax exemption of up to 8 years. Imported critical components for locally assembled electric vehicles, including related thermal management systems, enjoy special tariff privileges. These policies provide a clear roadmap for localization and investment for upstream and downstream enterprises in the electric heating industry—from material suppliers to equipment manufacturers.
Concurrent with the exhibition, officials from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) and industrial standards management bodies have been invited to interpret the latest regulations and application procedures on-site. Trade promotion agencies from Indonesia and Vietnam will also introduce their respective market demands and cooperation opportunities. By building a direct communication bridge with policymakers and market regulators, the event aims to reduce the cost of information acquisition and compliance risks for incoming enterprises.
Deep Interaction with Industry Think Tanks, Co-designing the Blueprint for Regional Transformation
Concurrent international summits, including the "Global Energy Storage Summit," will be held alongside the exhibition. These events will bring together global industry experts, policymakers, and corporate decision-makers to discuss core topics such as technological development trends, market access strategies, standard mutual recognition, and sustainable business models.
By sharing national energy development plans and policy orientations, and exploring the integrated application of electric heating technologies in industrial energy conservation, building heating, and transportation electrification, the summits aim to provide participants with strategic vision and business insights that extend far beyond the exhibition itself.

"In addition, the 'Annual Innovative Product Award' and 'Sustainable Development Contribution Award' will be established. These awards will recognize enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to technological innovation, energy efficiency improvement, and environmental protection, evaluating them based on criteria such as technical innovation and market application value. This initiative aims to set industry benchmarks and guide the positive development of the sector."
Shaping a New Industry Image, Empowering the Deep Global Expansion of 'Intelligent Manufacturing from China
"With opportunities to secure orders, connect with customers, and analyze competitors, the 11 ASEAN countries have become a hotspot for global expansion. In the past, international clients may have focused primarily on the cost advantages of Chinese products. Today, by collectively showcasing full-chain capabilities—ranging from basic material innovation and smart equipment manufacturing to comprehensive energy solutions—the image of Chinese enterprises is transforming into that of 'reliable technology partners' and 'innovative solution providers.' This shift in perception epitomizes the overall upgrading of China's manufacturing sector."

"Amid the macro backdrop of actively advancing energy structure transformation and intelligent manufacturing upgrades in Southeast Asia, the Chinese electric heating industry brings to the table enhanced industrial efficiency, carbon reduction technologies, and the assurance of an energy security knowledge system combined with practical technologies. By aligning Chinese products with ASEAN market demands, this mutually beneficial technological and industrial cooperation helps Chinese manufacturing enterprises integrate more deeply into the regional economic cycle and construct a stable, resilient, and cross-border supply chain system."
"A vaster, more urgent, and more open global electric heating industry market is systematically converging on Southeast Asia—the high ground of growth. At a time when globalization and regionalization are deeply intertwined, the 2026 World Electric Heating Industry Expo will provide a crucial strategic fulcrum for electric heating enterprises to seize opportunities in Southeast Asia's energy structure transformation and industrial upgrading."
